Andy Ramirez is an asteroid miner who crash-lands on a harsh alien planet. His suit has little oxygen, and strange creatures hunt him across the land. Andy hears Naomi Calloway, another survivor trapped in an escape pod several miles away. He risks his life to reach her. The film mixes survival danger, light jokes, fear, and a small romance.
The film places a Latino man and a British Indian woman at the center of a space survival story. Naomi is brave, capable, and active in the final fight, while Andy also remains the main hero. Their race and gender are visible parts of the casting, but the story does not make identity politics, social justice, or representation a main subject. The main message supports courage, teamwork, hope, and human connection during a crisis. The identity signals stay limited beside the creature attacks and survival plot.
