The movie constantly lectures about capitalism turning humans into expendable clones for corporate profit. It pushes anti-colonial messaging by portraying the space colonization as evil invaders destroying innocent natives for progress. The villain is a direct Trump fascist parody with red hats and “pure white planet” rhetoric. Nasha the black security agent is the girlboss hero who defies authority and leads the colony while visible lesbian characters appear as security agents.
