Emma Webster is trapped in a cold, remote lake house after her husband Mark handcuffs her to his dead body and kills himself. The wealthy couple's anniversary trip becomes a cruel revenge plan after Mark learns that Emma has been having an affair with Tom, a lawyer at his firm. Mark destroys Emma's phone and removes the tools that could free her. The dead car and deep snow cut her off from help. Two violent brothers arrive to claim diamonds and kill her, turning the story into a tense and bloody survival thriller.
The film makes Emma's escape from a controlling and emotionally abusive marriage the heart of the story. Mark treats her like property, and the handcuffs turn that control into a clear picture that she must drag through the snow. Emma becomes the main fighter and problem solver while the men around her threaten, use, or fail her. The film supports her freedom and survival, but it keeps the message inside a revenge story about one cruel husband and does not build a wider political argument.

Mark treats Emma as property and punishes her for ending their marriage and having an affair. Bobby also represents male violence when he hunts the woman he attacked years earlier. The film presents control, male entitlement, and abuse as the main source of danger. The story targets two cruel men rather than Western institutions, religion, capitalism, or society as a whole.

Creator track record context
S.K. Dale and Jason Carvey have no documented activist or identity-driven record in the cached context. Most producers have low scores and commercial horror or action backgrounds.
