Summary

Aimee Carrero is an actor known for Young & Hungry and for voicing Elena in Elena of Avalor and Adora/She-Ra in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. In interviews, she has emphasized the importance of Latina stories and women of color in positions of power, and described She-Ra’s story of women fighting together as especially relevant amid sexism and racial dog-whistle politics. In 2026, she criticized the Trump administration’s treatment of Latino families in an awards speech and urged continued storytelling about them. Her public record contains these repeated comments on representation and gender, but no documented leadership role in an advocacy organization.
