Personal context

Summary

Alex Sharp is an English actor known for his Tony-winning Broadway debut as Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and for screen roles in To the Bone, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Living, and 3 Body Problem. His work spans intimate character dramas and large-scale science fiction. Discussing To the Bone, he said he was interested in portraying a man with an eating disorder because male experiences were underrepresented in feature films, and praised the film’s female-led production, saying there should be more female directors. No public partisan campaigning or broader activism on race, LGBTQ issues, or DEI is on record.
