Ángela Molina

Personal context

Summary

Ángela Molina is a Spanish actress whose career spans five decades and includes films by Luis Buñuel, Pedro Almodóvar, and Costa-Gavras; she received the Goya of Honor in 2021. Her work has often involved politically and socially committed cinema, though her credits alone do not establish her personal views. Molina has said she cannot stay silent in the face of injustice, and in 2026 she appeared in Spain’s Ministry of Equality campaign opposing online messages that prescribe traditional roles for women. Her public record includes this women’s rights advocacy, but no public party affiliation or broader record of identity or DEI activism is established.
