Personal context

Summary

Camille Cottin is a French actor known for Connasse, Call My Agent!, Mouche, and Killing Eve. Her work often features sexually candid, unconventional women, and she has discussed the visibility of women over 40 and the value of chosen family and queer characters whose sexuality is not their defining trait. She co-founded Malmö Productions, a company dedicated to feminist projects, praised #MeToo at the 2024 Cannes opening ceremony, and has attended Pride and read a text honoring people who died of AIDS and chemsex. She has also publicly refused an audiobook role after learning of J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans post and supported SOS Méditerranée’s rescue work.
