David Gulpilil was a Yolngu actor, dancer and storyteller whose career included Walkabout, Storm Boy, The Tracker and Rabbit-Proof Fence. His later work included Ten Canoes, which he initiated and narrated, and Charlie’s Country, which he co-wrote and starred in.
