Personal context

Summary

Elaine Cassidy is an Irish actor known for Felicia’s Journey, Disco Pigs, The Others, Fingersmith, The Paradise and No Offence. Her screen and stage work includes psychological drama, crime stories and complex, often flawed characters. She has called for greater roles for older actors, noting that cultural diversity was also increasing; she said recent jobs had included more women than men and that gender equality had brought a positive response. No public partisan campaigning, DEI affiliations, or broader activist record is on record.
