Summary

Gautham Vasudev Menon is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and actor known for romantic dramas such as Minnale and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, as well as police thrillers including Kaakha Kaakha and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Romance, family relationships, and emotionally driven male leads recur in his work. He has repeatedly described writing strong, independent women as a deliberate choice, said he supports women working and competing in every field, and publicly stood up for Tamannaah after a director made sexist remarks.
