Personal context

Summary

Georgie Henley is an actor, writer, and director, best known for playing Lucy in the Chronicles of Narnia films and for roles in The Spanish Princess, Partygate, and The Diplomat. Her short film Tide and stage work show a career spanning independent filmmaking and theatre. Henley has publicly identified as bisexual and has repeatedly advocated for queer representation, saying queer people should be involved behind the scenes in queer productions and calling for trans actors to have meaningful casting opportunities and space to tell their own stories. She has also argued for more balance in whose stories are staged and discussed how gender and power shape social expectations.
