Julian Kostov

Personal context

Summary

Julian Kostov is a Bulgarian actor, producer, and filmmaker known for Shadow and Bone, The White Lotus, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. He has described challenging stereotypes about Eastern European characters and normalizing foreign accents as important, and has called the portrayal of Slavic and Balkan performers in The White Lotus meaningful representation. Through his production and talent-management work, he has also sought to create opportunities for Eastern European artists. His public record shows repeated advocacy for that representation; no public party campaigning or advocacy on other social causes is on record.
