Kapil Sharma

Personal context

Summary

London-based animation director at DNEG whose public record is studio craft, not activism. He rose through DreamWorks Animation’s India unit (Trolls, Penguins of Madagascar, Madagascar 3, Shrek/Madagascar shorts, Kung Fu Panda ride work), then joined DNEG as an animation lead and later directed or supervised character animation on Ron’s Gone Wrong, Entergalactic, That Christmas, and related DNEG features. Press and conference talks focus on pipelines, facial rigs, painterly motion, and building DNEG’s animation team. He has no widely reported identity-politics campaigning, DEI advocacy, partisan work, or a persona built around representation. Vendor animation-director credits on other filmmakers’ titles, including identity-adjacent Netflix jobs, do not show a personal representation-first or activist pattern.
