Personal context

Summary

Larry David is a comedian, writer, actor, and producer known for co-creating Seinfeld and creating and starring in Curb Your Enthusiasm. His comedy repeatedly mines everyday etiquette, social friction, Jewish identity, politics, and breaches of convention, often through deliberately uncomfortable satire. In 2024, he sharply criticized Donald Trump over his rejection of the 2020 election results. He has portrayed Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live, but no public statements on identity politics, DEI, or identity-focused activism are on record.
