Summary

Paul F. Tompkins is an actor and comedian known for sketch comedy, stand-up, improvisation, and roles in BoJack Horseman and Mr. Show with Bob and David. His comedy often draws on current events and social satire, though he has said he does not consider himself a political comic. In interviews, he criticized the Republican Party and Donald Trump, and defended empathy for transgender people against conservative rhetoric about them. He also canvassed for Los Angeles candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America and performed at a DSA-LA fundraiser for two of those candidates.
