Sachin Khedekar

Personal context

Summary

Sachin Khedekar is an Indian actor known for work in Marathi, Hindi and other Indian-language films, television and theatre, including Astitva and his portrayal of Subhas Chandra Bose in The Forgotten Hero. His roles often include political figures and family dramas; he has said that playing a political character does not mean he agrees with that character’s views. In 2015, he appeared in campaign videos urging votes for both the BJP and the MNS, while saying he was not affiliated with either party. He has also spoken in support of women’s empowerment and safety, but no sustained identity-focused or activist record is on record.
