Samy Naceri

Personal context

Summary

Samy Naceri is a French actor best known for the Taxi film series and for roles in Raï and Indigènes. His credits include stories involving immigrant and North African French characters, but those roles alone do not establish his personal politics. After the 2015 Charlie Hebdo attack, he condemned the violence while saying the magazine should not caricature the Prophet Muhammad and arguing against blasphemy. No public statements on DEI, representation advocacy, or activist causes are on record.
