Simon Farnaby

Personal context

Summary

Simon Farnaby is a British comedian, actor, and writer known for Horrible Histories, Yonderland, and Ghosts, and for co-writing Paddington 2 and Wonka. His work often pairs broad, silly comedy with an emotional core; Ghosts also touches on British history, colonialism, and same-sex marriage. He has described himself and his collaborators as liberal, criticized Brexit, attended a march calling for a second EU referendum, and said Paddington’s Mr Curry reflected hard-Brexit insularity. No public record of DEI roles or race, gender, or sexuality advocacy is established.
