Tosin Cole

Personal context

Summary

Tosin Cole is an actor known for Doctor Who, 61st Street, Till, and Supacell. His work includes stories about racial injustice and Black life, and he has spoken directly about representation: he says seeing Black performers tell stories about London helped him imagine becoming an actor, and that young viewers benefit from seeing people like themselves onscreen. He has also said racial profiling and stop-and-search affected him growing up, and that continued discussion of racial injustice shows how much remains unresolved. No public party campaigning, advocacy organization roles, or public statements on DEI are on record.
