William, Prince of Wales

Personal context

Summary

William, Prince of Wales, is a member of the British royal family whose public work has centered on charitable and environmental causes rather than acting. He has led the Earthshot Prize and supported initiatives on homelessness and mental health. As president of the Football Association, he condemned racist abuse of players; he has also spoken in support of diversity in the creative industries and said he would support his children if they were gay. No public record of partisan campaigning or of a personal identity as an activist is established.
