Becky is a young climber who is still broken after her husband dies on a mountain trip. A year later, her best friend Hunter talks her into climbing a huge abandoned radio tower to scatter his ashes. When a ladder breaks, the two women are stuck about 2,000 feet up with little water, no easy way down, and a long fight to stay alive. The tone is tight, scary, and personal. Most of the movie is the two of them dealing with heat, fear, and each other.
The story is about grief, trust, and the will to live. A big secret about the past hurts their friendship while they are trapped. The film stays on survival skills, height panic, and emotional healing. It does not push race, gender politics, sexuality, or modern activist messages. Viewers mainly watch two friends try not to fall and try not to fall apart.

Creator track record context
Most key people make commercial action and thriller films and keep a low political profile. Writer-director Scott Mann once said he wanted to address harm from unchecked capitalism through his AI company. That is a mild money-and-power view, not identity or DEI activism. The other writers and producers show almost no activist track record in the stored context.
