Andy Campbell is a nervous English teacher at a troubled high school in suburban Atlanta. On the last day of school, the principal plans staff cuts while students turn Senior Prank Day into chaos. Andy accidentally helps get Ron Strickland, a feared history teacher, fired after Strickland destroys a student's desk with an axe. Strickland then challenges Andy to a fight after school, and Andy spends the day trying to escape it while caring for his pregnant wife and young daughter.
The comedy is loud, crude, and cartoonish. The school is shown as badly run, with weak leaders, reckless students, and teachers who often act as badly as the children. The story treats fighting and being told to "man up" as part of Andy's path to courage. Andy's daughter uses a foul rap song to face her bully, and the ending ties the public fight to pressure for more school money.

Creator track record context
Most writers and producers have low stored scores and no clear woke, DEI, or identity-activist pattern. Richie Keen has a stored score of 14 and favors politically balanced satire rather than one-sided political comedy. Ice Cube has a stored score of 30 because he has discussed issues affecting black Americans and practical solutions for black people. This mild context is not strongly reflected in the movie.
