Jim Jefferies performs alone in a packed Nashville theater, where he turns his life and American public life into a long, foul-mouthed comedy set. He talks about becoming a father, living with his girlfriend, resisting marriage, and worrying about his child. He also tells stories about vaccines, his late autism diagnosis, sex, toilets, and the trouble caused by his earlier jokes. The tone is angry, crude, fast, and often built around saying something shocking before explaining that it was a joke.
The special has a clear political section about guns, abortion, Donald Trump, immigration, Muslim refugees, religious belief, and the meaning of freedom. Jefferies attacks Trump’s talk about Mexicans and Muslims, warns that hate can push young Muslims toward violent groups, and says love is a better answer. He mocks Christians, Muslims, Jews, and other faiths, and he backs personal choice on abortion, assisted suicide, and prostitution. These ideas are important in the final part of the set, but the hour also spends a lot of time on family stories, sex jokes, and toilet humor.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Jim Jefferies: Freedumb.
Woke representation / casting
Not present. The special shows one performer, Jim Jefferies, in a solo set. No diversity-based cast or identity-focused casting message appears on screen.
0%
Woke political dialogue
The special spends a long section on gun control, abortion, Donald Trump, immigration, refugees, religion, and assisted suicide. Jefferies calls people who like Trump for being a “straight talker” foolish, rejects Muslim registration, and says personal freedom matters more than government or religious rules. These are repeated spoken political positions, not one passing joke. The rest of the act is mostly family, sex, autism, and toilet comedy.
58%
Identity-driven story themes
The special argues that fear of Mexicans, Muslims, and refugees can create more hate and push young Muslims toward violent groups. Jefferies presents love and welcome as the answer to that fear. He also supports abortion choice and personal control over assisted suicide and prostitution. This message fills a substantial final section, but it shares the hour with family stories and crude jokes.
48%
Western institutional / cultural critique
Jefferies attacks the American claim that the country is the freest place by pointing to prison numbers and limits on personal choice. He supports assisted suicide and legal prostitution, and he says religious groups and government should not control private decisions. He also says religion slows society down and mocks Christianity and other faiths. This is a sustained final section, but it is rough comedy rather than a full political plan.
55%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. The special is a solo stand-up performance. It does not adapt established characters, a book, or real historical figures.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
At least one prominent IMDb review objects to the special calling Trump supporters foolish and treating gun rights as foolish. That review sees the political section as an unfair liberal attack rather than a neutral joke. The special also reports hate mail from gun owners after Jefferies argued for gun control, but the available record does not show a large public campaign against this release. Most news coverage focused on rape jokes, misogyny, and free speech.
25%
Creator track record context
Jim Jefferies writes and performs the special, and his cached creator score is 56/100. His recorded work and interviews show repeated political and social commentary about guns, Trump, religion, and other public issues. His style also attacks liberal and conservative targets, so the context does not make every joke activist. Ryan Polito and producers John Irwin, Alex Murray, and Tim Sarkes have cached scores of 0/100.
