Last Breath is a 2025 survival thriller based on real events. It follows seasoned saturation divers Chris Lemons, Duncan Allcock, and Dave Yuasa on a job repairing pipelines in the North Sea. When a storm hits and Chris's umbilical line snaps, he is stranded hundreds of feet down with only emergency oxygen. The remaining divers and ship crew fight time, weather, and equipment failure to reach him using an ROV and manual controls. The story centers on professional skill, teamwork, and a desperate rescue.
The film tells a straightforward true story of deep sea divers fighting to save one of their own after a bad accident. The focus stays on their skills, the dangerous equipment and conditions, and the crew working together to fix problems fast. Chris has a fiancée back home, and their connection adds some personal feeling to the danger he faces. Marketing and reviews call it a tense thriller about real human endurance and teamwork. The people who made it have backgrounds in documentaries and regular films with no activist or identity focus.
