Lucy Shimmers is a bright five-year-old girl with deep faith in Jesus. She talks with her late grandpa, who appears as an angel. When she gets sick and goes to the hospital around Christmas, she meets Edgar, a tough prisoner with failing kidneys. The tone is warm, sad, and faith-heavy as Lucy tries to change hard hearts with love and kindness.
This is a Utah indie Christian family film about second chances, prayer, and childlike belief. The story puts Jesus, angels, and Christmas front and center. Lucy teaches adults to forgive, love a man with a rough past, and trust God. Viewers notice faith talk, hospital miracles of the heart, and a tearful ending, not modern identity politics or activist messaging.
