Rocketry: The Nambi Effect follows Nambi Narayanan, an Indian rocket scientist who helps build India’s space program. The story moves from his student years in America and Europe to his work at ISRO. Police later accuse him of spying, and the case damages his career, family, and health. The film uses a serious and emotional tone with strong patriotic feeling. The film centers on science, loyalty, ambition, and the harm caused by false charges. Nambi is shown as a brilliant worker who wants India to succeed. His wife and fellow scientists support him while officials and police turn against him. The film also criticizes careless state power and shows how public honor can be destroyed by a false story.
