David is a husband and father who is driving across Las Vegas to reach his wife at the hospital. A stranger called the Passenger enters his car with a gun and forces him to drive into the night. David tries to escape, but the Passenger uses threats against David’s family to keep control. The story becomes a dark and violent thriller about a hidden past, guilt, revenge, and two men who are not what they first seem. The story stays focused on murder, family duty, fear, and personal blame. The Passenger tells a story about a mob killing that destroyed his wife and daughter, while David hides that he helped cause their deaths. The ending shows David killing the Passenger, hiding the evidence, and returning to his family while pretending to be innocent. The film keeps most of the action in a car, a diner, and dark roads.

Creator track record context
Yuval Adler has made political stories about conflict, occupation, and security. Jill Young has a clear record of queer storytelling, and Julie Goldman has produced progressive films about human rights and LGBTQ+ subjects. The film itself does not use those subjects, so this is background context rather than a strong signal in the movie.
