Brenda Vaccaro

Personal context

Summary

Brenda Vaccaro is an American stage, film, and television actor whose career includes Midnight Cowboy, Once Is Not Enough, and decades of Broadway and television work. Her roles range from comic and socially confident women to dramatic character parts, but her credits alone do not establish a personal political stance. A 1978 listing in the Lesbian Tide names Vaccaro among people who donated money or appeared at benefits for gay rights; no broader pattern of public identity, DEI, or activist advocacy is documented.
