Felicity Huffman

Personal context

Summary

Felicity Huffman is an actor and producer known for Desperate Housewives, Sports Night, Transamerica, and American Crime. Her work includes stories about transgender identity and, in American Crime, race and the justice system. She has said she was proud to represent the transgender community, called for transgender rights in a Golden Globe acceptance speech, and described herself as pro-choice; she has also voiced support for Hillary Clinton. Her public record shows these specific positions and statements, but no sustained activist role or broad pattern of public advocacy across multiple causes.
