Greg Kinnear

Personal context

Summary

Greg Kinnear is an actor and former television host known for As Good as It Gets, Little Miss Sunshine, Auto Focus, and a wide range of comedy and drama roles. His work often draws on an affable screen persona, while films such as Auto Focus and Misbehaviour place that persona against flawed or outdated public figures. In a 2020 interview, he said the male bias in the stories Hollywood greenlights is reflected in the industry’s output and praised Misbehaviour for its strong female voice; he also questioned the lack of on-set protections in the 1990s and said cultural progress was visible. No public record of party campaigning, identity-focused organizational roles, or broader activism is established.
