Summary

His comedy often uses absurdity, social awkwardness, and satire of authority and convention. He helped create Amnesty International’s Secret Policeman’s Ball benefit shows and recorded political broadcasts for the Liberal Democrats and their predecessor, the SDP–Liberal Alliance. He has repeatedly criticized political correctness, “woke” culture, and cancel culture; no public record of advocacy for identity-focused or DEI causes is established.
