Oh Dal-su

Personal context

Summary

Oh Dal-su is a South Korean character actor known for Oldboy, The Host, Miracle in Cell No. 7, and many commercial films, often in supporting and comic roles. His work spans crime, action, historical drama, and comedy, with no consistent identity-driven or activist framing. In 2018, several women accused him of sexual misconduct; after initially denying the allegations, he apologized, then later said his memories differed from the women’s accounts. The police investigation closed because of insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations; no public statements on identity politics, DEI, or political activism are on record.
