Quentin Tarantino

Personal context

Summary

Quentin Tarantino is a writer-director known for Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Django Unchained, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. His films often draw on genre cinema and feature stylized violence, nonlinear storytelling, and recurring explorations of race and American history; his use of racial slurs has also drawn criticism. In 2015, he marched and spoke at a New York rally against police brutality, saying police killings should be called murders; he later clarified that he did not consider all police officers murderers and was not anti-police. Beyond that episode, no public DEI campaigns, identity-focused affiliations, or recurring activist profile are on record.
