Summary

Rose Williams is an English actor known for Reign, A Quiet Passion, Curfew and Sanditon. Her work includes historical dramas and roles centered on strong, independent women. In a 2019 interview, she said an all-white period-drama cast would be historically inaccurate and untruthful, and spoke about representation in period dramas and the persistence of patriarchy. She has also served as a Big Issue ambassador, supporting work on homelessness and housing; no public record of party campaigning or recurring political activism is established.
