Summary

Shane Gillis is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and co-creator of Gilly and Keeves and Tires. His comedy and podcasting draw on observational humor, current events, sports, American culture, and deliberately provocative material. In 2019, Saturday Night Live dropped him after past podcast clips containing racial slurs and offensive remarks resurfaced; he later said he understood both sides of the debate over his firing. No public advocacy for DEI, identity causes, or social-justice organizations is on record.
