Shaun Benson

Personal context

Summary

Shaun Benson is a Canadian actor and director whose screen credits include The Associates, General Hospital, Channel Zero, The Boys, and Tiny Pretty Things. He has also directed Barn Wedding and Borderline, and in 2013 directed Stop Kiss, a play about two women whose relationship is followed by a violent hate crime. In a director’s note for that production, he wrote that a play about women being beaten for falling in love should be obscure only to “pedants and perverts.” No public record of broader political campaigning, DEI roles, or activist affiliations is evident.
