Tony Schiena

Personal context

Summary

South African actor, writer, producer, and martial-arts champion who also presents himself as a former intelligence operative and counter-terrorism specialist. His screen work is dominated by action, thriller, and security-oriented projects, with occasional classical or dramatic material, rather than identity-focused storytelling. Schiena has made combating child sex trafficking and modern slavery a sustained part of his public and professional life through MOSAIC and the MOSAIC Federation, which he describes as working with law-enforcement figures and charities on investigations, public education, and human-rights protection. He has discussed trafficking at international conferences and incorporated the subject into his filmmaking, while also supporting Kurdish forces against ISIS and speaking about conflict security. These are meaningful humanitarian and anti-trafficking commitments, but the public record shows little evidence of DEI advocacy, race- or gender-centered representation campaigns, queer activism, partisan politics, or a broader identity-politics persona. His recurring profile is better characterized as humanitarian, security-focused, and action-oriented.
