The movie keeps showing sex work as just a job for the tough Brooklyn lead character the whole way through. Class power from the rich Russian oligarch family crushes her impulsive marriage and fairytale. Minor lesbian character appears at the strip club. No activist dialogue or identity sermons but the class clashes and sex worker focus drive the narrative engine.
