Boy is a deaf young man who lives in a ruined future ruled by the Van Der Koy family. As a child, Boy believes the family killed his mother and sister during a public event called the Culling. A mysterious Shaman hides Boy in the jungle and trains him to become a deadly fighter. Years later, Boy enters the city to kill the rulers, and the film mixes violent comedy, video-game jokes, and family secrets.
The film places several women in major power roles. Hilda rules the city, Melanie controls its public message, and June27 serves as a fierce killer. The story presents these women as cruel villains rather than heroes or role models. Boy's deafness and silence shape the action and the jokes, while the main ideas are revenge, grief, family loyalty, mind control, and the danger of turning a hurt child into a weapon.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Boy Kills World.
Woke representation / casting
Three prominent women hold the film’s main power roles. Hilda rules the city, Melanie runs its public message, and June27 leads its violent security force. The production notes call attention to its “powerful female villains,” but the story presents them as cruel villains and keeps Boy as the central hero, so the gender signal stays limited.
