Bullet Head follows Stacy, a career thief played by Adrien Brody, after a robbery goes wrong. He hides in an empty warehouse with older thief Walker and young addict Gage while police search outside. The building holds an illegal dog-fighting pit, and a badly hurt Presa Canario named De Niro hunts the men. The film mixes tense survival scenes with grim crime drama, harsh violence, and long talks about past mistakes.
The film gives its strongest moral weight to the abused dog and the men who feel trapped by their own pasts. Flashbacks show each criminal’s bond with an animal, and the story treats De Niro as both a danger and a victim of human cruelty. Stacy hopes to leave crime and start a new life with Grace, while Walker pushes him to stop repeating old choices. The ending links mercy, regret, and the chance to change, while the dark tone keeps the story closer to a rough crime thriller than a warm animal film.

Creator track record context
Paul Solet is mainly known for crime and horror films, and his stored creator score is low at 23/100. Most producers have low stored scores and no clear activist record. A few producers have made socially focused films elsewhere, but that work does not appear in this movie. Solet’s title-specific comments focus on dogs, crime, and rescue work, which gives a mild animal-welfare signal without a clear identity-driven agenda.
