Burrow is a six-minute animated short about a young rabbit who wants a home of her own. She draws a simple plan and starts digging in an underground animal neighborhood. The rabbit keeps running from friendly neighbors because she feels ashamed that her plan is not as good as theirs. The playful story turns tense when her digging causes water to flood the homes around her.
The short follows a female lead who acts on her own, but her main problem is pride and fear of embarrassment rather than a fight about gender. The rabbit finally tells the truth about her mistake, and the badger calls the whole neighborhood to help. The animals work together to save their homes and then help build the rabbit’s dream burrow. The ending supports friendship, shared work, and asking for help without shame.
