Neha Grover works as a flight attendant and meets Ankit Sethi on a flight from the fictional Middle Eastern city of Al-Barkat to Delhi. Ankit wins her trust, but he hides a failed diamond business and a huge debt. The couple agrees to move diamond-studded phone cases on a plane, only to face a staged hijacking with armed men, hostages, and a government rescue plan. The film mixes romance, crime, violence, and fast twists in a tense but often messy thriller.
The clearest woke element is the film’s identity-driven story theme about a woman taking control after a man uses and hurts her. Ankit treats Neha as a weak and loyal girlfriend, while Neha hides her real plan, helps stage the hijacking, steals the real diamonds, and leaves him defeated. The ending turns the usual romance setup upside down by making the woman the true planner and the man the victim of his own trick. The movie gives this revenge against male entitlement a major place in the final half, but it stays inside a crime plot and does not become a wider political message.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga.
Woke representation / casting
Not present. The film uses an Indian cast in an Indian crime story, and its main identity choices fit the setting. It does not show an identity-based casting pattern, a race or gender swap, or a diversity-first casting message.
0%
Woke political dialogue
Not present. The lines focus on debt, crime, threats, family, and the hijacking. The film mentions freeing Kashmir and briefly shows Gulf workers being treated badly, but those lines serve the plot and do not push modern identity, DEI, or activist politics.
0%
Identity-driven story themes
Neha’s revenge becomes a major part of the second half and the ending. The story shows Ankit treating her as a weak and obedient girlfriend while he uses her for the robbery. Neha then hides her real plan, arranges the fake hijacking, steals the real diamonds, and leaves Ankit defeated. The story clearly rewards her control over a man who thinks women should submit to him, but it keeps the message inside a crime thriller.
55%
Western institutional / cultural critique
The romance repeatedly shows Ankit using stalking, emotional pressure, and violence to control Neha. The story treats his behavior as a form of male entitlement and lets Neha turn the same romance setup against him. This gives a meaningful critique of toxic male behavior and traditional romance roles. The film does not expand that critique into an attack on Western institutions, Christianity, or family life.
38%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. The film does not use established characters, a known canon, or a real historical figure. Its plot twists do not change a known character’s race, gender, sexuality, or history.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
Not present. The separate X research found no anti-woke complaints, and wider coverage found no sustained claim that the film pushes woke or DEI ideas. Audience posts and reviews mainly debated the twists, acting, logic, and entertainment value.
0%
Creator track record context
Amar Kaushik and Raj Kumar Gupta have repeated women-centered or social themes in earlier films. Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has also backed films about gender, class, and social issues. Ajay Singh’s public record is craft-focused, and the other listed crew have no clear activist profile. This gives moderate supporting context, but it does not show a strong partisan or representation-first group.
