Woke representation / casting
The documentary stars late non-binary poet Andrea Gibson and their partner Megan Falley, actively focusing on their queer and genderqueer identities. Because it is a documentary about real people rather than a fictional story with forced casting, the subjects represent themselves. However, the project heavily prioritizes and elevates queer and non-binary representation as a central element of its focus.
