Kasper Nordin is a washed-up singer and former reality star who wants to repair his name. He joins an online contest in a hidden house with seven other famous people from different countries. The group expects a five-million-dollar prize, but the votes soon decide who must face deadly games. The film uses grim horror, bloody violence, dark jokes, and a mean look at fame and online viewers.
The group has an international mix that includes a Filipino chess master, a Mexican blogger, an African-Canadian bride-to-be, and a Chilean rapper. Their personal stories focus on fame, broken relationships, family, ambition, and survival. Kasper and Lonni form the main love connection while the other players compete for public favor. The villain attacks celebrity culture, online viewers, and the habit of turning real pain into entertainment.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Funhouse.
Woke representation / casting
The film puts an international group at the center of the show. The cast gives major roles to an African-Canadian former bachelorette, a Mexican blogger from Tijuana, a Filipino chess master, and a Chilean rapper. The story also pairs Swedish Kasper with African-Canadian Lonni, and the director's notes call the group a diverse ensemble. The worldwide contest makes the mix believable, so the identity signal is noticeable but limited.

Creator track record context
Jason William Lee's cached creator score is 3/100. The listed producers have cached scores of 0/100. Their known work centers on horror, crime, television, and film production rather than identity activism. The creator context therefore adds only a very weak woke signal.
