Major is a cyborg soldier in a high-tech future city. She works for a special police team that stops dangerous criminals and hackers. A big company says it saved her life after a crash and built her a robot body. As she hunts a mysterious enemy, she learns her memories are fake and the company used her as a weapon. The film is sleek action sci-fi with a cool, dark look and a serious tone about what makes someone human.
The real story is about Major reclaiming who she is. She finds out her true name and past, rejects the lies she was told, and fights the people who stole her life. The big ideas are memory, free will, and whether a person with a machine body still has a soul. Those questions drive the action and the quieter scenes with her team and her mother. The villains are greedy company bosses who treat people like products.

Creator track record context
The key people on this film have low stored scores and careers built on big action and commercial movies. Their public records do not show a strong pattern of social-justice campaigns or identity-first projects. That background is mild support only and does not drive the film’s story. Viewers mainly meet a standard studio sci-fi crew, not an activist creative team.
