James Stevens is a widowed father who has lost his job and custody of his young daughter. He takes a no-questions-asked truck job across the Southwest and discovers that his cargo is two Mexican sisters being sent to a sex trafficker. James must face his anger and guilt while he tries to find the sisters and stop the people controlling them. The movie is a serious, faith-based crime drama with romance, danger, and a strong redemption story.
The film says that the sisters have value even after criminals treat them as goods. James becomes the main rescuer, and his change comes through duty, faith, family, and a belief that men must protect and respect women. The women have less inner detail than James, and the romance grows from the rescue plot. The story focuses on human dignity, personal responsibility, and the harm caused when people treat others as products.
