Hadley Sullivan is a 20-year-old American student flying from New York to London for her father’s wedding. She misses her plane by four minutes and meets Oliver Jones, a British statistics student, while she waits for the next flight. They share a long talk on the plane, but customs separates them before they can save each other’s contact details. The film uses a bright, playful tone as the pair search for each other across London.
Hadley is angry about her parents’ divorce and does not want to attend her father’s new wedding. Oliver is dealing with his mother’s cancer and a family memorial that lets her hear loving words while she is still alive. Their short romance makes both young people face grief, fear, broken promises, and the risk of trusting someone. The story asks whether love is controlled by chance, numbers, or the brave choice to stay open, and it ends with hope for a lasting family life.

Creator track record context
Vanessa Caswill has a cached score of 29/100 because her work often centers on women and authentic representation. Haley Lu Richardson has a cached score of 24/100 because she has supported abortion access and played a queer role in another film. The writers and most other listed creators have low cached scores and little public activist history. These points give mild creator track record context, but they do not shape this movie’s romance.
