Zach and Emmy are a married couple who take a hot-air balloon trip across the Italian Dolomites. They hope the trip will repair their troubled relationship. Pilot Harry and passenger Julia join them before the balloon rises high above the mountains. The tense survival thriller turns a romantic trip into a fight involving lies, betrayal, and revenge. The movie centers on cheating, grief, money, control, and a marriage falling apart. Emmy discovers that Zach has been unfaithful and treats her as dependent on him. Julia brings anger and danger into the balloon, but her revenge becomes extreme. Emmy finally rejects Zach and survives alone, but the story does not use clear modern identity, DEI, or activist messages.
