Summary

Ana de la Reguera is a Mexican actor and producer whose credits include Narcos, Goliath, Army of the Dead, and the series Ana, which she created and starred in. Her work and interviews have returned to the limits Hollywood placed on Latina actors, including accent and appearance stereotypes, and to women’s roles and expectations around age. She has described creating Ana as a way to explore her experiences as a Mexican actress in Los Angeles and has spoken about the value of more equitable roles for women. No public party campaigning, DEI affiliations, or sustained activist campaign is on record.
