Anne Heche

Personal context

Summary

Anne Heche was an actor known for Another World, Donnie Brasco, Wag the Dog, and a wide range of film and television roles. Her work included dramas, thrillers, and comedies, often in supporting or leading roles. During her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, Heche appeared with her at gay-rights events, including a Human Rights Campaign dinner and the Millennium March for Equality. Heche later said she had not identified as a lesbian and described falling in love with a person rather than a gender; her public record does not establish a sexual identity label.
